The call for presentations is now open. We have provided an online submission form as well as a template for your convenience.
We invite you to submit your presentation proposal for consideration for the 6th FBF conference program. Please select from an oral presentation, micro-talk or a poster presentation.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Fire behavior modelling and simulation
Fire risk modelling and mapping
Firefighting and crisis management, from the wildland to the interface
Data collection and management
Prevention, preventive land and ecosystem management
Human factors and issues
The text of an abstract submitted to be selected for an oral presentation should not exceed three (3) pages, including the reference list, figure or table. The abstract is a synthesis of the oral presentation and should be understandable by any scientific reader. It can be uploaded in a MS-Word format and will automatically be changed into the pdf format.
For the redaction of the final version, accepted abstracts will have to be modified by the authors, taking into account the reviewers’ remarks. Proceedings will be published as a paper book as well as a PDF file gathering the final version of the abstracts with a DOI assigned, and disseminated as an open archive.
The abstract includes a title, the list of the authors (the first listed is the corresponding or main author), their affiliation (do not mention the full postal address) , the authors’ emails, a list of keywords and the abstract text, references and presenter’s short bio. If the first author is not the previewed presenter, please underline this latter one.
The text is written in Times New Roman (sizes are listed in the table 1 of the template) on A4 format (210 mm / 297 mm) with one unique column, simple interline, up margin 32mm, botton margin 35mm, inner margin 15 mm and outer margin 15 mm.

Papers for Conference Proceedings – All authors are encouraged to submit either an extended abstract or full paper to the conference proceedings. The deadline for papers is March 15, 2019.
